In 2022, I did a 10-week artist in residence at Mikarie Child Care Centre. Every week I engaged with the students through art, active Acknowledgement of Country and creative learning strategies, bringing on other First Nations facilitators throughout the period to support their learning. The facilitators that joined me throughout were Kate Lienert, Wesley McLeod and Aunty Deanna Schreiber.

The various strategies and workshops I led the children through each week contributed to and eventuated in the mural’s design.
